This morning I checked MARA website at http://www.mara.gov.my/ and found out that ---> Keputusan Bagi Mengikuti Program Pengajian Di Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Terkemuka Luar Negara Sesi 2008/2009 Di Bawah Skim Pelajar Cemerlang can be accessed.

I got the scholarship! YAY!!

Hmm.. pretzel.. yummy..

Hmm.. all of the sudden I feel like I want to eat pretzel.. macam la kat kuantan ni ada jual pretzel.. cheh! I got this recipe of soft pretzel, and I wanna give it a try.. mana la tau, lepas ni boleh bukak kedai jual pretzel.. hahaha... bila nak buat ek? the sooner the better.. anyway, kalau sedap and jadi, I'll keep you guys/gals updated.. kalau tak jadi, senyap je la yekk.. hehe

Convocation Part 1

Ceremony: Istiadat Konvokesyen ke-68 UiTM 22 - 31/5/08
Venue: Dewan Sri Budiman

Date: 22/5/08

Day: Thursday (Sidang 1)
Time: Around 9.30am, but the graduates need to be there around 7.00 am

Waaah... this is the moment that I've been waiting for the past 2 years..All the hardwork and sacrifice has finally being paid off. Receiving my masters degree from HRH SPB Yang DiPertuan Agong - Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah was an unforgettable experience since he is the canselor of UiTM--> Menjunjung Kasih Tuanku!

Now I am oficially an alumni of UiTM.. after 2 times of convocation at UiTM (Diploma and now for masters), the song UiTM di Hatiku is still 'berhantu' whenever I sang it in Dewan Sri Budiman. Terasa sebak dan bangga sebab dah konvo dan jadi alumni UiTM.

Happy Mother's Day!

I know Mother's Day was yesterday (11th May 2008), but then I hope it's not too late for me to wish all mothers out there --> Happy Mother's Day! Being a mom for the first time, I got to experience all the feelings and concerns that all mothers have, eventhough my baby girl is only 6 months old..

This entry is specially dedicated to my mother, Mrs Zarah Bachik...

Dear mama:
Kakak would like to wish you a very Happy Mother's Day..thank you so much for always being there for me, to support me, to be my inspiration and strength during my ups and downs, since I was a small child until now..

I know that you have done so much for me, and yet I've done so little for you.. and I always pray to Allah that you will always be blessed and have a good life.. Your strength and love has guided me and gave me wings to fly. Thank you for being my mom and I am grateful to have you in my life. I love you so much...

I have written a poem for you... In the interest of poetic economy and truth, I have succeeded in concentrating my deepest feelings and beliefs into two perfectly crafted lines:

You're my mother, I would have no other!

Updates on Fatihah..What can she do by now???

I've been wanting to write an entry about my lovely Fatihah, but yet I want to gather some of her latest photos. She's now 6++ months old, and what can she do by now? Plenty. Let's start with her rolling over left and right, here and there --> not to mention in the babycot, but also on her sleeping bag that we spread in front of the telly. She likes to make cute faces, and then likes to smile and laughs a lot.

Oh, the most important thing. She likes to play --> with her teethers, books, penguins, Mr Lion the puppet and her rattle. Kalau letak kat atas sleeping bag, dia mula la nak capai itu ini, main sorang2 dia je. Mulut dia tu sambil-sambil tu bercakap ntah apa2 ntah..(baby talk). Pengasuh kat nursery pun cakap Fatihah ni riuh. Suka bercakap dengan baby beside her babycot. It was funny when she tried to call me -- "aaa..aaa.." by looking at me.. mula2 tu tak perasan, but then she turn towards Zairi and repeat "aaa..aaa.." again. Hehe.. Bilalah dia nak belajar panggil Mommy and Daddy.. We are waiting for that moment to come.

She likes biting her teether..

When she is drinking her milk, masa tu jangan la nak panggil2 dia.. tak layan punye.. dia tgh khayal dan sibuk menikmati kelazatan susu tu.. even if you're trying to touch her fingers, or poke her cheek, she won't bother. Unless if her daddy passes by, mesti dia pusing tengok.. Macam-macam la Fatihah ni.. hehe..

Her famous trademark among our family --> her leg. Kalau tengah menyusu tu, mesti satu kaki lurus, satu kaki bengkok sambil goyang2 macam org tua. Then she likes to wiggle her body to ask people to pick her up. Masa tu, jangan la nak main acah2 nak angkat dia, sebab kalau tak angkat, dia mengamuk! Ni gambar dia tengah main kaki..
