I always find that whenever I am not in the mood, or whenever I'm not at my best, there is one thing that always makes me feel better: The little girl below:
Well, she's now in the stage where she imitates people, wanting to learn and go to school (hehehe..). Not to forget playing and watching her fave cartoon, "Backyardigans". It is truly a wonderful experience being a mom to such a lovely daughter.Another thing that she likes to do now is playing in the water -- with bubble bath and her bathing pals. That's when I decided to bring her to the wading pool (it's a kid swimming pool) here in Ames. I bought her a swimming suit and Huggies swimmers (swimming diapers), and we were all set for a splash in the pool. So we went to Carr pool, where the wading pool is located besides the big swimming pool -- and there was nobody at the wading pool. We changed her and she started splashing water all over :)). Mommy and daddy didn't join the little girl -- we just supervised her from the edge of the pool. Here's the little girl that enjoyed the water:
The max depth of the wading pool is 18 inches. Not too deep for us, but definitely need to keep an eye on the kids, though... All in all, she really enjoyed the day and it looks like we'll be hanging out here often for the rest of the summer...
