First birth and confinement, my exhillarating experience

Posted by hidayah

Hmmm..Where should I begin? I have to admit, I am not a big fan of writing about myself for public display, especially on the web. Then when somebody told me that I should write about my life (well, more on the important stuff that I experience in life, actually) then I thought, what the heck, give it a try..but I'm not having high hopes for current updates of this blog, though.. let's just say I'll take a step at a time..

Back to the topic of the day..First birth and confinement, my exhillarating experience..It was a marvellous experience for a first-timer like myself, having baby and all.. not exactly an easy job, but yet it is doable.. At this turning point, my life has totally changed. The first birth and confinement was really challenging for me, aside from going through with it, I had to deal with other stuff as well - finishing my Master's thesis. Somehow I managed (still can't believe it!) to finished it and the last part of the thesis in the labour room.. hehe.. while fighting the pain from being induced...

Well, that's before labour.. and during confinement, it's kinda challenging.. with sweaters and socks, taking my law final exam, going through my viva.. whew!! glad all of it is done and over with. Alhamdulillah, I graduated my Masters and simultaneously got a daughter :P. All the sacrifice and hard work had finally paid off. Now I can concentrate my weekends (since I commute for two years during my weekend to go to classes from Kuantan to Shah Alam) on my daughter, not to mention the entire household (duh!)..

I'll be back from my confinement break on the 26th of December 2007.After being away from work for nearly 3 months (plus my annual leave), the working spirit is not there yet..the holiday mood is still in the air...

I think that's the end of my second post..hope that i have the time to write new posts in future..
